Where a field supervisor accounts for a crew of individuals for payroll time and job costing, documenting the time for each individual can be a nightmare.
Using Crew Time, the supervisor creates his crew from a list of employees. This crew can be named so that it can be easily recalled and used for any particular day; a crew can consist of 1-99 members.
To use during the workday, the supervisor selects the project and crew and then inputs the time for the crew. The system can be configured to reflect both work day time and actual job time. It can also prompt the user to enter a local county if required. This allows the system to collect all the information necessary for variable wage rates and Davis-Bacon compliance.
Once the crew time is completed, one button tap creates a time slip for each employee. That time slip can be edited to assign specific tasks or work codes to an individual, or to adjust for some variation in time for that particular individual.
Back in the office, the individual time slips can be used as source for the particular payroll or ERP system in place.
